About: Angela Lamb

Angela Lamb is on a mission to make America healthier. Her hope is to live a very long, healthy life while making a positive impact on the world and the health of others.  She created the health documentary, “Un-Inflame Me: Reversing the American Diet & Lifestyle” and her healthy living children’s book, “Superhero Healthy Henry Discovers Planet Earth” after she overcame her own very scary health challenges that surfaced due to a lifetime of the Standard American Diet & Lifestyle. Now, she is in the best health of her life and is extremely grateful every single day for her second chance at life. Now Angela spends her time in a multitude of ways to stay healthy and help others be healthy. She is not only a health documentary filmmaker and children’s book author, but she also travels to schools, community centers and museums dressed as a carrot, “Betty Carotene,” getting kids excited about eating real food from nature and exercising regularly. She believes lifetime habits start early and it is important to encourage children to develop healthy habits. She also is an ACE certified Health Coach and is employed by the YMCA as a Lifestyle Coach teaching US corporate employees how to be healthier. Additionally to maintain her own health and help others, she is a PiYo Live & Zumba fitness instructor. And last but not least, she is a proud member of the local chapter of Slow Food, Inc. where she sits on panels educating the public about the pitfalls of the Standard American Diet & Lifestyle, chronic inflammation and the benefits of physicians who are trained not only in medicine but also in nutrition and seek to find the root cause of illnesses rather than just suppressing the symptoms with a pill.
